Every year a limited edition, dedicated to an opera by Donizetti. The label is inspired by the opera "Alfredo il Grande."
Descrizione
Deep ruby red with violet highlights that denote the extreme youth of the wine. On the nose, it opens with notes of red fruit, cherry, plum, as well as hints of vanilla, cocoa, and spices. The palate highlights beautiful acidity.
Aging / Maturation
In 225-liter oak barriques, followed by long bottle aging.
Food Pairings / Serving Suggestions
Feathered and furred game courses, red meats served with creamy sauces, aged and full-flavored cheeses.
